Our Goal: Make Disciples!
The vision of the Church of God in Minnesota is to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus, in our area of influence. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus says, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NLT)
One Mission. We have accepted the call to reach Minnesota. We understand that we are missionaries. We are serving the Lord in our Minnesota communities and around the world. Although we are a “Mission State” in the Church of God, we are a “missional state” in our focus. We will give and serve and go until we fulfill the vision that God has given us.
One Harvest. Jesus tells us that the harvest is ripe but the laborers are few (Luke 10:2). We are not concerned that we are limited in numbers or resources. God has instructed us to reap souls around us – and that is our fullest intention. Minnesota is our mission field!
One Church. While we are diverse in our ethnicity and culture and generations, we are united as one. As one church we will faithfully serve our Lord and His Word. This unity will display to the world that Jesus is Lord. (John 17:23)Join with us on this exciting journey as God leads us into the bright future He has prepared for us.
